Virtual Senior Recital — mezzo-soprano, 2020
To showcase her collegiate resume, Victoria M. Evens put on her final recital of her undergraduate program virtually due to the covid-19 pandemic. This virtual recital included works from respected German Lieder of Franz Schubert, melancholic French mélodies of Lili Boulanger, classical music of Bach, and more.
Junior Recital — mezzo-soprano, 2018
Evens organized her first full recital in 2018 for her junior recital. For this project, she sought out quartet members and accompanist, created a program with program notes, and performed as a vocal soloist. This program included works by composers such as George Friderick Handel, Clara Schumann, Reynaldo Hahn, and more.
Clara Wieck-Schumann Lecture Recital — mezzo-soprano, pianist 2018
Victoria M. Evens was awarded funding through the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program to conduct research on Clara Wieck-Schumann and the Complexities of Women Composers in the early Romantic Era. She presented her findings through a lecture-recital, where she performed various examples of Clara’s voice and piano compositions within her lecture.
